Marie-Helene Just found this photo on the site today, and can confirm that Joseph Fonteix (my grandfather) was indeed the “bandmaster”. It was not Rene Fonteix, Sr (my father) who would have been 11 or 12 when this photo was taken. This is the only photo I have ever seen of my grandfather and I was wondering if it would possible to get a higher resolution copy of it? Merci.
