Kuhlthau Family Tree

I have been working on updating the Kuhlthau Family Tree that was prepared in 1964 for the Milltown Tercentenary by Marilynn Catchings. It does a wonderful job of showing the relationships between family members starting with Johann Heinrich Kuhlthau and his 11 children (9 of which continued to multiply in Milltown). Unfortunately there are no dates after the second generation (Conrad, Phillip, William etc.). And of course, nothing after 1964. If anyone is interested I can provide PDF images…

Mike Sims is my older brother. I remember when Mike would talk of Jimmy. I didn't know Jimmy, since he and Mike were about 8 yrs older than me. I do know they were close friends and I know Mike was deeply affected by Jimmy's death. Jimmy's been gone awhile now and you probably miss him. Just so you know, even though his life was short, he did touch others in ways you might not even know. Mine and Mike's older brother Steve died in 1995 and I understand what losing a sibling is like. Mike lives in California and works for NASA. Are your parents still alive? I'm sure Mike would like to know. BTW how did you know I was related to Mike?

I knew Hazel's parents well and her cousins. I have a book published in 1882 that mentions Phillip Kuhlthau, Milltown and a few others who were related. If you email me your email or snail address I can scan it for you and send it to you.
As to the Selovers -- I was adopted by my Dad James V Selover--so I haven't done much original genealogy work on the Selover family -- but my Dad did a lot going back to the 1600s when the 1st of what would come to be called the Selover-Slover family came to New York and then to New Jersey. The Selovers are all related.

I have visited the village where my mother was born a number of times. My eldest son is visiting there this week.
