Did your parents/ grandparents live in Milltown? If so, what were their names?
Father Jack Wright lived on Main Street and had his business in Milltown. Mother Claire Wright was a teacher at OLOL Elementary School for many years.
About Me:- Tell us about yourself
I lived in Milltown between 1974-1978 while I went to Rutgers Univ. As a child was a communicant at OLOL Church on Main Street.
What is your interest in Milltown history?
I wrote my doctoral dissertation (University of Chicago) on Milltown. Received my degree in 1985. Worked in Advertising in NYC from 1985-1998. That dissertation was the inspiration for the Kentucky Fried chicken fictional town of Lake Edna for their ad campaigns of 1990-1995.
